This project was a renovation of a modest apartment in a 1960?s-era white-brick apartment house on Irving Place. The many windows and excellent views were the best feature of the space, which the architects magnified by designing an open kitchen. The small pre-existing kitchen and dining alcove were in this way opened up into a Living, Dining, Kitchen suite.
Custom moifications were made to stock IKEA cabinets, and glass tile backsplashes and granite countertops increased the luxury quotient of the kitchen.
