This historic townhouse was renovated to open up the garden-level kitchen to a fully-enclosed rear yard, dig down the cellar, and replace all windows and infrastructure. The intended effect is that the architecture of each room appears to be of its original era, while the fit-ups, loose furniture, and lighting are more contemporary.
